Superleague 2
AEK B’ – Chania 0-1: First doubles with Boutsakis

Chania defeated “Serafeidio” thanks to Yannis Boutsakis’ goal (with a header in the 48th minute) and celebrated for the first time outside of Crete. Five losses in a row for AEK B’.
AEK B’s game against Chania had very good pace, multiple finishes but only one goal. What the guests wear. Yiannis Boutsakis was the golden goalscorer for Chania with a header in the 48th minute from a lovely Ilias Tseliou cross from the left.
The dismissal of Alexandros Parras with yellow-red in the delays of the first half also proved decisive, as AEK had to play with one player less after the break.
Despite Yannis Boutsakis’ goal and the deficit, Sokratis Ofrydopoulos’ players fought for an equalizer until the last minute of injury time, but the equalizer didn’t come. Manolis Kalogerakis twice said ‘no’ to Alexis Golfino and Zini, keeping Chania’s goal intact.
On the other hand, the visitors naturally missed the opportunity to ‘clean up’ the game in the 78th minute after Panagiotis Ginis saved Giorgos Manali’s penalty.
This was Chania’s first victory in this year’s championship outside of Crete, while AEK B suffered five straight defeats in Super League 2.
