“I admire them.” Biathlete Gerbulova – about working with Istomin and Noritsyn

Russian biathlete Natalya Gerbulova told the “Championship” about working with coaches Artyom Istomin and Vitaly Noritsyn.

— Vitaly Viktorovich Noritsyn has a very good experience of working, including with foreigners, sometimes he tells us how they work. And Artyom Evgenyevich Istomin is a maximalist, Vitaly Viktorovich sometimes even calms him a little. Even when we have game training and we play volleyball, Artyom Evgenievich runs all over the court and tells us something (smiling).

Artyom Evgenievich is more in terms of functionality, and Vitaly Viktorovich is more in shooting, although both suggest both here and there. It’s great that there is such a coaching connection, and one is more restrained, balanced, and the other is a charged maximalist. They work very well with each other, they constantly discuss training, communicate with us. I admire them and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with these people,” Gerbulova said.

In the last sprint race at the Russian Championship in Tchaikovsky, Gerbulova took second place.
