On Friday, December 19, as part of the third stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Biathlon Cup, a women’s 7.5 km sprint race will be held in Tchaikovsky.

The start is scheduled for 11:30 Moscow time. Watch the live broadcast of the competition on the Match TV and Match Planet channels from 11:00.

The starting list includes 66 biathletes. Anna Sola, Anastasia Khalili, Natalia Shevchenko, Irina Kazakevich, Kristina Reztsova, Victoria Slivko will take the starting line.

Swedish biathlete Hanna Oeberg won the sprint at the World Cup in France

Swedish biathlete Hanna Oeberg won the sprint race at the third stage of the World Cup in Annecy (France).

Oeberg covered the 7.5 km distance in 19 minutes 24.9 seconds and did not make a single mistake on two shooting ranges. The Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot (+3.3 seconds; no misses) was second; the top three was rounded out by the Italian Dorothea Wierer (+11.4; no misses).

The leader of the overall standings, Swede Anna Magnusson (+1.23.4; 2) finished 38th.

On Friday, the men’s sprint will take place at the World Cup in Annecy.
