The head coach of Torpedo, Igor Larionov, explained that his team lost to Spartak due to two gross mistakes, but noted that it was precisely such matches that the audience needed.
On Friday, the Nizhny Novgorod team lost 3-4 to the Red-Whites in the KHL Championship Fonbet match, leading 3-0 during the first period.
– The game did not deceive the expectations of the fans, there was intrigue, there were goals, but in the end Spartak turned out to be stronger. The matches on the fourth day of the U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship have started.
In a brutal match, Switzerland beat Germany 4-0, sending their opponents into a survival game that will pit the Germans against the last team in Group B.
Germany finished without points and advanced to the knockout stages along with Switzerland, Sweden, the USA and Slovakia, although their final group positions will be determined by subsequent matches.
