Member of the Federation Council Anatoly Shirokov responded to the words of the famous Czech goalkeeper Dominik Hasek, who called on the NHL to prevent the participation of Russian hockey players in the regular season matches between the San Jose Sharks and the Nashville Predators in Prague on October 7 and 8.
– Here we are faced with a long-standing, but since the beginning of the NWO, which has become a public attitude of Western countries towards Russia, its best manifestations in culture and sports. In this sense, the reaction of the legendary Hasek is a serious reflection of the wave of Russophobia that literally overwhelms the Western European countries and the American continent, primarily the USA and Canada. I feel sorry for Czech fans and Czech hockey fans that they succumb to such rabid anti-Russian propaganda.
Well, the second. It’s like with sanctions, shooting yourself in the foot. I am sincerely sorry for the Czech fans who love hockey as a sport, as a spectacle, as a clash of characters and wills, that if this proposal is implemented, they will not see Russian hockey masters who are confidently breaking NHL records today. I mean Ovechkin, Panarin and many other hockey players who have already entered the golden fund of the NHL, Shirokov is quoted by Life.ru.
Forward Yakov Trenin is currently playing for Nashville, forward Alexander Barabanov, as well as defenders Artemy Knyazev and Nikolai Knyzhov play for the Sharks.
