Five clubs of the National Hockey League (NHL) are interested in St. Petersburg SKA forward Andrey Kuzmenko, Sportsnet reports.

According to the source, the Russian hockey player has already met with representatives of the Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights. The Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers are also showing interest.

The 26-year-old striker is expected to make a decision on which NHL team to sign with in a month.

Kuzmenko in the 2021/22 season played 61 games for SKA in the KHL regular season and playoffs, scored 67 points (27 goals + 40 assists).

    Traditionally, one of the most interesting hockey tournaments of the year begins – the U-20 World Junior Championship in the elite league. The tournament will take place in the USA from December 26 to January 5.
