Khabarovsk “Amur” beat Nizhnekamsk “Neftekhimik” in the regular season match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.

The meeting in Nizhnekamsk ended with a score of 4:1 (2:0, 1:1, 1:0) in favor of the guests. As part of the winners, Matvey Zaseda scored a double, and Ilya Talaluev and Oleg Li also scored. Damir Zhafyarov scored a goal at Neftekhimik.

Seven minutes before the end of the third period, Neftekhimik player Maxim Fedotov collided with teammate Andrei Belozerov and left the ice on a stretcher.

“Amur” won the second match in a row and is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings with 12 points; Neftekhimik suffered a fourth defeat in a row and is sixth in the East with 14 points.

In the next match, Amur will play away against Moscow Spartak on October 15, and Neftekhimik will host Sibir Novosibirsk on October 12.

In another match of the day, Severstal Cherepovets beat Sochi on their ice with a score of 3:0.

The match ended with Kremenchuk scoring 4:1, and the match was abandoned twice due to air raids.

At the same time, the home team lost 0:1, but they scored two goals on the power play in the second period and eventually hit an empty net. Vitaly Lyalka scored a double goal.

While Sokol finishes 2025 as the leader, Kremenchuk is one point behind and has a game in hand.

Junior World Hockey Championship. Calendar and match results

Traditionally, one of the most interesting hockey tournaments of the year begins – the U-20 World Junior Championship in the elite league. The tournament will take place in the USA from December 26 to January 5.

The American team will defend the title it won in Canada a year ago. However, Maple will try to heal herself after the failure.
