Lokomotiv forward Yegor Surin, after the defeat to Dynamo Moscow, said that he did not understand some of the refereeing decisions.

On Wednesday, the railway workers lost to Dynamo with a score of 0:1 in an away match of the regular Fonbet KHL championship. At the end of the second period, Surin was punished with a double fine for a fight with Dynamo forward Jordan Weal; the Canadian striker was not sent off.

— It was a close game, both teams played well defensively, there weren’t many chances. I think this is a great experience for the team. Some issues need to be resolved.

“Not yet, apparently, we need to work on it,” the Match TV correspondent reports Surin’s words.

At the same time, the home team lost 0:1, but they scored two goals on the power play in the second period and eventually hit an empty net. Vitaly Lyalka scored a double goal.

While Sokol finishes 2025 as the leader, Kremenchuk is one point behind and has a game in hand.

Traditionally, one of the most interesting hockey tournaments of the year begins – the U-20 World Junior Championship in the elite league. The tournament will take place in the USA from December 26 to January 5.

The American team will defend the title it won in Canada a year ago. However, Maple will try to heal herself after the failure.
