“My transgender son is crying in the bedroom.” Ovechkin greatly disappointed the Americans

“Washington” is one step away from elimination from the Stanley Cup. The fans made the Russian striker the last one.

Washington hacked to death with Florida in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, but missed the victory twice in a row and was on the verge of elimination. A dramatic defeat away, when everything was in the hands of the “capital”, caused a storm of indignation against the team.

In an attempt to find the culprit, many American fans of the Capitals put the captain and attack leader from Russia as the extreme captain and leader of the attacks. He is called the main disappointment of the playoffs and even calls on the club’s management to get rid of the main star.

Why are you so hard on Alexander the Great?

Managed to lose a huge advantage

The fifth match of the series of the first round of the Stanley Cup between Florida and Washington turned into a real drama for the capital team. The club under the leadership of Peter Laviolette at the beginning of the second period led with an advantage of three goals, but the team was not destined to get an important victory on the road.

Gradually, the Panthers bounced back and took the lead, winning with a score of 5:3. Ovechkin was noted in this confrontation only with an assist. For the second match in a row, the best sniper of our time leaves the ice without goals scored.

Despite not too high performance, Ovechkin scores points in each of the last five matches. However, in the fifth meeting with the Panthers, his utility indicator turned out to be negative – “-1”. Perhaps this provoked a flurry of negativity against Alexander from the side of the Americans.

“Ovechkin is absolute zero”

Now in the capital club, no one has more points than Ovechkin. Only TJ Oshi is ahead of the Russian in the list of scorers due to the greater number of goals scored. Quite logically, the lack of team success causes dissatisfaction among the fans. But it is not clear why one of the best players in the club “honored” such unflattering reviews.

– Ovechkin is an absolute zero when playing in equal compositions. When you need your best player to save a sinking team, he does nothing for this – expressed dissatisfaction with Alexander’s game @TheRoseCompany.

“Ovechkin didn’t help the team in any way in this game,” wrote @MattyNats_, apparently forgetting about the assist of the Russian striker.

Do you know a more useless player in the playoffs than Ovechkin? You probably won’t be able to name one, no one can, says @SlavaMalamud

“Maybe it’s time for Ovechkin to wake up?” asks @DJFRANK316 on his social media page

— I would like to see at least some movement during the match. Usually Ovechkin does something, but not this year, – the user @brentlee527 was dissatisfied with the actions of Alexander in the current season

– This disgusting match was the last straw. I will never look at this team again until we have a successful rebuild. Just tore Ovechkin’s jersey in half. My transgender son is crying in his bedroom. I can’t take it anymore,” an American father of three with the nickname @Gerth18291 burst into an emotional speech.

– Damn record! Ovechkin must go! — commented on the post about the defeat of the team in social networks @in.oubliable_

Was Ovechkin drunk? @the_bearjew13 asks

– Heavenly patrons turned their backs on Alexander Ovechkin, – expressed his assumption about the latest failures of the captain of the capital squad @BrandyBeansH

Ovechkin can’t keep up with the playoff pace he used to have. He is tired, hinted at the age of the Russian @pdmNM03
