Panarin set a New York Rangers record by scoring the fastest 600 points in club history.
Russian forward of the New York Rangers Artemi Panarin scored his 600th point in matches for the club, the NHL press service reports.
The 34-year-old Russian made an assist to Mika Zibanejad in the fourth minute of the regular season match against the Seattle Kraken.
Panarin has 202 goals and 398 assists in 476 games for New York. He reached the 600-point mark the fastest in club history, beating Mark Messier’s record of 531 appearances.
Panarin has been playing for the Rangers since 2019; he previously played in the NHL for Chicago and Columbus.

NHL. Hat trick with overtime goal, wins for Florida, Colorado and Anaheim
Defending champion Florida beat Chicago 5-1 in NHL regular season play, capturing its sixth win in its last eight games.
The Panthers sit sixth in the Atlantic Division, four points behind the top 3.
Among other results, we note foreign player Ottawa’s unexpected victory over Vegas with a score of 7:1, Colorado’s 4:1 win over Toronto with a hat-trick from Brock Nelson, and Anaheim’s 4:3 win in overtime against Calgary.
Junior forward Beckett Sennekke had a hat trick for the Ducks, his first three-goal game in the NHL.
Anaheim is in the top 3 in its league and aims to return to the play-offs.

The Ukrainian hockey championship match between Sokol and Storm took place.
If yesterday the current champion Kremenchuk sensationally conceded 9 goals and lost to the Odessa region, Sokol returned to first place by easily beating Storm 8:1.
Having defeated Kremenchug twice recently, the Kiev team took the lead in the championship, three points ahead of its main rival.

Hat-trick and 6 points for a defenseman in the NHL, Buffalo’s breakthrough, Florida’s victory
In the NHL East, the leaders remain Detroit and Carolina, who won today and share first place with 69 points. The top 3 was completed by Tampa Bay, which unexpectedly conceded 8 goals from Columbus.
Buffalo is sensationally in the top 4 of the conference. The team, which has missed the play-offs for 13 consecutive seasons, has won 18 of the last 22 games and aims to make a quick entry into the post-regular season.
Florida won an important victory. The Panthers beat Minnesota on Brad Marchand’s double and hope to avoid missing the playoffs. The league champion is in the 6th place, 6 points behind the top 3.
In the West, Edmonton gave the super game and defeated Washington 6:5 with a hat-trick in overtime and got 6 points from defender Evan Bouchard. This was the first hat-trick in the player’s career.
Connor McDavid scored two goals and had three assists.
