Torpedo striker Alexander Darin said that the decision to exchange him from Lokomotiv was unexpected, noting that he considers the transition to the Nizhny Novgorod team a new stage in life.
In May, the 21-year-old forward signed a two-year contract with Torpedo.
– How did you react to Lokomotiv’s decision to exchange me? All this was unexpected, because he spent his whole life in the same team. But, probably, everything went to this, because I spent the whole last season in Perm. And before that, there was an opportunity to move to other teams, and now, more than a year later, everything happened.
What do I associate with the fact that last season I did not play a match in the KHL? It so happened. Apparently, he didn’t pass the competition, he didn’t get into the squad. I perceive the exchange in Torpedo as a new chapter in my life. The pre-season training camp has passed, test matches have begun, and I look forward to the start of the season. I think it will be very interesting, – said Darin “Championship”.
For two seasons, the hockey player played 16 matches for the Lokomotiv main team and scored 6 points (3 + 3).
