“It was quite a grueling turnaround for our team to prepare five dirt spec cars, but now we are ready for the race in Greece. I’m looking forward to having Isabelle and Séb back with us and with his experience in this race we’re optimistic.

It has not been an easy season by any means but we have seen promising and exciting race pace from each of our crews so we need to build on that and move on. Racing in Greece is always an epic event. It’s not called Rally of Gods for nothing! I can’t wait for the WRC to return to the Olympic Stadium to compete on the Super Special Stage – a really great setting for an exciting sport.

We’ve had some good results on clay this year, particularly in Sardinia, so I’m looking forward to seeing what our team can do in Greece.”

  • Sebastian Lamm

“The Acropolis Rally is a beautiful rally that I have always enjoyed. Things are different this year than I’ve known and the racing seems a lot less rough. There are a few specials that are still the same, but mostly we’re starting from scratch.

It’s not an easy race, but it’s great to race in, so I’m looking forward to it. I’ll do my best, prepare as best as I can and hopefully find a good rhythm like I had in Kenya and Portugal. Hopefully we’re doing a little better with no bugs or issues. That is the goal.

Our testing went well, the feel of the car was right and it was pretty good. We tried the suspension, differentials and hybrid system, all of which seemed to be doing pretty well. After the tests I’m happy, the car worked well, everything was fine and we’re ready.”

  • Craig Breen

“It’s nice to be back in Greece, it’s a race I haven’t raced in a while. I was there last year to do the recon but 2015 was the last time I raced I have some good memories from Greece, where I got my first international rally win in 2014 which was one of the big milestones of my career.

It will be a pleasure to go back there again. It looks like it’s going to be a tough rally, there are a lot of tough specials that we’ll drive at some point. It’s going to be a tough week, but I’m looking forward to it. The tests went well, we had a good feeling with the car and we hope to get a good result in Greece.”

  • Gus Greensmith

“Greece is one of the legendary rallies in the championship and I really enjoyed racing there last year. It was a good result for us to finish fifth overall – a top five result next weekend would be a fantastic result so that’s what we’re aiming for.

We know that a lot of things can go wrong in Greece given the tough roads, but our team built a strong car and that will help us!”

  • Pierre Louis Loubet

“I’m really excited to come to Greece, it’s a fantastic country and a fantastic rally. With our position on the road and the pace we showed in Portugal and Sardinia, I think we can achieve great things. I’ll try to give it my all in this rally because I think we have everything we need to do well. The car is running great, the tests were positive and I feel even better than before. I think there’s potential, so let’s see what happens.”
