Binoto: “Only if we win will we revive the Ferrari legend”
The director of the Scuderia was clear about the goal of returning to winning ways in 2022, while Charles Leclerc was impressed by the new Ferrari F1-75, describing it as “innovative and aggressive”.
If a car’s looks reflect its speed, then the new Ferrari F1-75 unveiled by Scuderia at Maranello on Thursday will be very competitive in this year’s Formula 1 championship.
The team’s two drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Saint – and Monegasque in particular – made no secret of being impressed by the F1-75’s performance and expressed hope that it would be just as exciting and fast on track.
Ferrari presented their real 2022 car, in contrast to the Red Bull RB18, which was a demo exhibition model. The Scuderia had no problem showing the competition how they interpret the all-new 2022 regulations that give rise to the white-themed and so different cars of this year’s F1.
Particularly impressive was the F1-75’s thin, low snout, innovatively designed with two separate sections, as well as the strikingly detailed body that houses the impressive hybrid powertrain layout – which, of course, aims to improve aerodynamics.
“I like it very, very much“Leclerc stressed during the presentation of the car.”I think I’ll like it even more when it’s fast on the track, but I absolutely love the way it looks. You can see how much work has been done just by looking at the body. It looks exciting, extreme and I like it“.
For his part, Carlos Saint emphasized on the new Cavallino: “I think he looks aggressive. And radical. I think it looks really nice too and like Charles said I hope it’s quick. Its[design]gets out of the way and that’s what you want to see from a new car“.
Previously, the Scuderia director had no reservations about the Italian team’s goals for 2022, clearly saying they can’t help but return to wins and titles with claims for the first time in almost a decade and a half.
“We know expectations are high and we are ready to face our opponents” said the Italian.”I want the F1-75 to be the car that will make the team’s friends proud of Ferrari again. Our goal is to revive the team’s legend and the only way we can do that is by winning again. It takes a fast car with two great drivers, and we have them“.
Speaking about the new car, Binoto added: “F1-75 is the expression of the talent, commitment and passion of each one of us. It is the end result of an effort guided like never before by a new spirit and approach and the push for maximum innovation in every component and detail“.
Following today’s unveiling, tomorrow (18/2) the Ferrari F1-75 will complete its first kilometers on the track at the company’s private track in Fiorano to verify the correct operation of its systems.
Both Leclerc and Saint will be in the cockpit, but they will not cover more than 15 kilometers in total. It will be a demo as Scuderia will hold the first of two promotional days (with a 100km limit) for February 22 in Barcelona, the day before the start of F1 winter testing at the track in Catalonia.
Binoto explained that the aim of Ferrari – and of course all teams – will be to adopt their new car in the first tests and that is why the Scuderia is not preparing any F1-75 upgrades for a launch.
“In the beginning there will be many lap times that we can find as we learn and discover the car’s performance. I expect this will last a few of the first few games. I don’t think we can find the car’s best performance in one test.
We will keep the package we have in the two three days of testing. We will bring some upgrades but nothing special. The beginning will have to do with mapping, understanding, learning and eventually the emergence of autodynamics‘ the Italian concluded.

The season finale and Monaco’s failure will be shown. Where are the most overtakes in F1?
The Formula 1 2025 season was full of competition and transitions. Although fewer in number than last year and fans and drivers not always able to enjoy the action on track, there were still plenty of genuine overtakes.
On some routes there were very few, as expected. The fewest overtakes took place in Monaco; There were only four overtakes during the entire race. And most of them were at the season finale, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – 60th.
Below is the exact number of actual overtakes on each stage; this number does not take into account position changes on pit road during the first lap as the driver exits or exits the track. The chart only reflects actual overtaking on the motorway.

VIDEO. Mercedes leader at a loss for words because of Leclerc’s behavior
Mercedes driver George Russell received a rather unusual Christmas gift from Charles Leclerc as part of Secret Santa.
The Briton received a chart showing his overtakes at the Dutch Grand Prix, arguably one of the most exciting moments of the season.
After unwrapping the gift, Russell said: “Look at him. He’s such a nice guy. He can only overtake illegally, so that’s all he has going for him – taking people off the track. I’m speechless to be honest.”
When asked if he wanted to wish Leclerc a Merry Christmas, the British driver playfully added:
“He doesn’t deserve this. Maybe I’ll give him another photo of Kimi knocking him out of the race and remind him of what happened a few laps later. Thank you Charles. Thank you for nothing.”

There is no information that George Russell bought Charles Leclerc.😂
“It’s a very delicate piece. It means having a form that’s not legal. It means they’re unarmed… much better.” pic.twitter.com/O7MLLWdTtB
