VERSTAPPEN reacts to Red Bull design update
Max Verstappen praised the new Red Bull car and the livery of the team, which he has insisted on updating for a long time.
The Dutch driver, along with his new teammate Isak Hajjar, unveiled the RB22 during Ford’s motorsport season presentation in Detroit. During the event, Red Bull unveiled a vibrant new look that immediately attracted attention.
Verstappen has repeatedly expressed his desire to change from the traditional Red Bull livery and now his wish has finally come true. During the presentation, the current champion shared his impressions:
“First of all, everyone is very excited, including me. The colors have changed a little bit,” said Max.
“It seems to me that this is much better. I’ve wanted this for a while, so I’m really excited. I love the glitter, I love the blue; it’s my favorite color. I also love the outline of the Red Bull logo; they’re back. Overall the design looks new.”

The Ukrainian driver defeated his rivals in the F4 qualifying round. Bondarev on pole position
The important sessions of the first race weekend of the Middle East Formula 4 (UAE4) season, attended by Ukrainian driver Alexander Bondarev, started on Saturday, January 17, at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The day started with a training session in which the Ukrainian athlete showed the fastest time.
After this, the qualifying round took place, where Bondarev left no chance to his rivals and won the pole position with an advantage of almost 0.4 seconds in the first session. The Ukrainian’s gap was comparable to the gap between second and seventh place.
Already at 11:30 Kiev time, the second and final heats of the stage will take place, after which Alexander will find out the starting position for the next race.

The Ukrainian driver became the fastest at the start of the first stage of Formula 4 in 2026.
Today, January 17, the first stage of the prestigious Formula 4 Middle East championship started, in which Ukrainian Alexander Bondarev participated.
As with most race series, there are training sessions leading up to major events (qualifying and the race itself). They don’t always accurately reflect the true balance of power, but they allow you to establish a general trend at the beginning of the scene.
Training at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi was a good start for Alexander. The Ukrainian immediately set the pace and set the fastest time of the session.
Moreover, this has become a pattern, not an exception. Bondarev also spent among the leaders in pre-season testing, which ended a few days ago, and also led training on Friday.
Now all that remains is to consolidate the momentum in decisive sessions that bring results in the form of positions and points. Qualifications for the first stage will take place on Saturday at 11:10 and 11:20 Kiev time.
