Horner: “2024 cars will be Red Bull clones, differences will be closed”
Red Bull Racing director Christian Horner says things will get more difficult for his team in Formula 1 from now on as their rivals will follow the RB20’s design philosophy and it will offer less and less room for development.
The Milton Keynes club had the luxury of settling on the RB20 2024 design very early this year given the way the 2023 league played out. Single-seaters are getting smaller as other teams make leaps and bounds in adopting the ideas of the RB19, which won 21 of the 22 GPs of the 2023 season.
Speaking about the new RB20, Horner said it will be an “evolution rather than a revolution” compared to the RB19. “All areas of the car have been modifiedand we cannot afford to be complacent.
