Where and when is Laver Cup 2022 being played?
The 2022 Laver Cup will take place from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 September. His place on the schedule comes after the group stage of the Davis Cup Finals and before the Asian and European tour of hard court tournaments culminating in the Paris Masters 1000 and the ATP Finals in November.
The 2022 edition will take place at The O2 Arena, the 20,000-capacity stadium in south-east London where from 2009 to 2020 the end-of-season ATP Finals were played. In 2021 the event was held at the TD Garden in Boston.

The Laver Cup is a team competition where the best tennis players in Europe are pitted against the best from the “Rest of the World” and the first team to add 13 points wins.
How do you get these points? Three singles matches and one doubles match are played each day, with the best of three sets and the final contested as a 10-point tiebreak. Wins on Friday are worth one point, Saturday two and Sunday threewhich ensures that no team can become champions before the last day.
The European team won the four editions of the Laver Cup. In 2017 they won 15-9 in Prague (Czech Republic), in 2018 they won 13-8 in Chicago (United States), in 2019 they won 13-11 in Geneva. (Switzerland) and in 2021 won 14-1 in Boston (USA).
