Maria Sakkari will face Donna Vekic at her premiere in San Diego
Maria Sakkari meets Donna Vekic (No. 77) of Croatia in her debut at the San Diego 500 tournament, and the two tennis players know each other very well.
After the Ostrava tournament, Maria Sakkari will take part in the San Diego 500 tournament and at her premiere she will find a tennis player by her side whom she knows well. This is Donna Vekic (No. 77) from Krostia, with whom the Greek tennis player has competed several times in doubles.
If Sakkari beats Vekic, she will find the winner of the match Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic, No. 22) – Caroline Dolheid (USA, No. 32) in the round of 16.
It is not yet known when the Sakkari match will take place, it will take place either in the evening (Tuesday, 10/11) or in the early morning hours of Wednesday (10/12).
