The British Cameron Norrie, with no. 1, advanced to the final of the ATP 250 tournament in Delray Beach, defeating American Tommy Paul (N.4) 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday in Florida.

The 26-year-old left-hander, 13th player in the world, will face for an first title this year, the American Riley Opelka or the Australian John Millman, who will compete tonight in the other semifinal.

“I am very satisfied with my level of play, which was very complete in both sets. “Because (Paul) is really difficult and he plays ahead, but I am happy that I overcame that in my serve”, he commented.

Norrie, who failed in this semifinal tournament last year, actually managed to save the two break points his opponent got, before winning at 1:16.

If he wins on Sunday, Norrie will win a third ATP Tour title after winning the Indian Wells Masters 1000 and Los Cabos, Mexico last year.
