(Paris) Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, who won Sunday at Indian Wells on 4e title of his career, continues on Monday to progress within the top 10 of the WTA ranking, of which she is now 7e.
The 23-year-old player progresses three places to reach the best ranking of her career while the Polish Iga Swiatek, crowned in 2022 and whom she had precisely eliminated in the semi-finals in California, continues to lead the debates.
Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, dominated in the Indian Wells final by Rybakina, is still 2e ahead of American Jessica Pegula.
Despite his elimination in 8e of the final of the Californian tournament, the French Caroline Garcia takes the Tunisian Ons Jabeur the 4e place.
Finalist at Indian Wells in 2022, but only a semi-finalist a year later, the Greek Maria Sakkari falls from 7e at 10e rank.
Further down, another Polish player, Magda Linette (19e) made, at age 31, his entry into the top 20, from which the ex-N. 1 Romanian world Simona Halep (25e-6), suspended at the end of October for doping.
