The ATP Tour has announced the calendar for 2024 with 63 tournaments in a total of 29 countries. The world’s best tennis players will compete in the biggest tournaments on 6 continents in an action-packed 11 months.

What stands out in this new annual calendar, which also includes the Paris Olympic tournament, is the fact that the tour returns to Asia Swing after 2019.

Highlights in the 2024 calendar

  • The 2nd edition of the United Cup is an early season mixed team event hosted in partnership with the WTA and Tennis Australia.
  • Relocation of the tournament in Los Campos (Abierto de Tennis Mifel) from July to February one week before the Abierto Mexicano Telcel in Acapulco.
  • A total of 5 12-day ATP Masters 1000 tournaments will be held in California (Indian Wells), Florida (Miami Open), Madrid (Madrid Open), Rome (Internazionali d’Italia) and Shanghai (Shanghai Masters), after the recent expansion of the tournament under OneVision.
  • Revised summer schedule with the addition of the Paris Olympic Tournament.
  • Determining the future venue of the existing ATP 250 tournament in Banja Luka in April.
  • Back to the traditional Asia Swing with the Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo, but also with the China Open in Beijing shortly before the Rolex Shanghai Masters.
  • The 54th edition of the Nitto ATP Finals, which will be held in Turin for the fourth time.

ATP President Andrea Gaudenci spoke about the new 2024 calendar: “Few sports in the world captivate sports fans all year round and in as many global markets as tennis.

We do everything we can to offer tennis fans the best possible experience, just like players do on and off the court. From the United Cup in Australia to the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, 2024 will be another tough but exciting Tour season.”.
