Raisa Andreeva, the mother of tennis player Mirra Andreeva, denied information about a possible change in sports citizenship of the Russian athlete.
Earlier it was reported that 16-year-old Andreeva plans to change sports citizenship to French. Tennis player agent Lev Kassil denied this information in an interview with Match TV.
— I don’t know where the rumors came from, our agent published a refutation of this information. Otherwise, I have nothing even to add, – Metaratings.ru quotes Raisa Andreeva.
Andreeva takes 102nd place in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). The Russian has participated in two Grand Slam tournaments: she reached the third round of the French Open, and also reached the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Khachanov, who received the 15th seed, beat the 38th racket of the world, American Alex Mickelsen, with a score of 4:6, 6:4, 6:3, 5:7, 6:3. The athletes were on the court for 3 hours 55 minutes. The Russian needed eight match points to win.
Khachanov’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Christopher O’Connell (Australia, WC) and Nishesh Basavareddy (USA, Q).

Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina reached the second round of the Grand Slam tournament in Australia.
