Marketa VONDROUSZOVA: “It’s amazing that I can hold this trophy”
Czech tennis player Marketa Vondrousova (WTA number 42) shared her feelings about the victory over Ounce Jaber (6:4, 6:4) in the final of the Wimbledon tournament.
“I don’t know what’s going on. It’s a great feeling. Ounce, congratulations, you’re a huge inspiration to all of us. I hope you win one day. You’re a great person. After what I’ve been through – I was cast in a cast last year – it’s amazing that I can stand here and hold this trophy in my hands.
