Russian tennis player Lyudmila Samsonova made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament in Abu Dhabi.
The Russian, seeded eighth, beat Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina in the second round match with a score of 6:1, 6:3. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 8 minutes on the court.
Samsonova’s next opponent will be Czech Barbora Krejcikova (4th seed).
