28-year-old Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic was recognized as the MVP of the team tournament United Cup 2026.
Bencic won five of her five singles matches and also had four wins in her five mixed doubles matches.

The Swiss team reached the final of the competition and lost to Poland with a score of 1:2.
Bencic moved up to tenth place as of Monday and will return to the top 10 of the world rankings for the first time since April 2023.
