Tsitsipas: His way to the final of the Australian Open
Stefanos Tsitsipas meets Yannick Sinner in the quarterfinals and Sportish presents its potential opponents after the Australian Open.
Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Fritz 3-2 after a great fight and qualified for the “16” of the Australian Open.
The Greek top tennis player (No. 4) meets world No. 10 Yannick Sinner on Wednesday (26 January) to celebrate qualifying for the semi-final stage of the first Grand Slam of the season.
But what will Stefanos Tsitsipas find against him if the event continues? His potential opponent in the semifinals will emerge from his match Ozer Aliasim (No. 9) with Medvedev (No. 2).
The most difficult opponent for Stefanos is of course the Russian, although the two have had some very good duels. In the quarter-finals, the Ukrainian player and her US partner Desiree Krawczyk had to play against the first seed. Alena Ostapenko (Latvia) and Xie Shuwei (Chinese Taipei).

Kichenok and Krawczyk will race Eja Muhammad and Erin Rutliff or Ellen Perez and Demi Schurs in the semi-finals of the 500 in Adelaide. At the beginning of the competition, Lyudmila and Desiree beat the Irina Khromacheva / Alexandra Panova duet.

In another match of the first round of qualifying, another representative of Russia, Polina Yatsenko, lost to Argentinean Maria Lourdes Carla – 3:6, 3:6.
