In the final 4 of the cup, Elysiakos defeated Aiada 3-0
Elysiakos became the second team to seal their presence in the Final 4 of the women’s volleyball cup after beating Aiada 3-0 in Evosmos.
Elysiakos defeated Aiada 3-0 in Evosmos to qualify for the Cup’s Final Four for the second time in its history.
With the exception of the first set, where Ajax started better (7-3 lead), Elysiakos dominated all areas of the game and easily achieved victory with Radovic, Moreno in the lead.
This was Elysiakos’ second win at Evosmos in a matter of days (he had won the championship 3-2 on January 22) and earned him a ticket to the Final 4 of the Cup for the second time, as he had managed in 2018 ( if and played in the Pre League), when he took part in the corresponding event in Santorini.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
