Eurovolley 2023: The draw for the men’s national volleyball team

The draw for Eurovolley 2023 took place on Wednesday evening (11/16), in which our men’s national team was drawn in the Tel Aviv group together with Israel, Romania, France, Turkey and Portugal

On Wednesday afternoon (November 16th) the draw for Eurovolley 2023 took place, in which our national team will also take part.

That Men’s Euro Volleyball begins on August 28, 2023 and ends on September 16, 2023 Italythe North Macedoniathe Bulgaria and Israel to host the 24 best teams in Europe.

THE Men’s National Team will attend for 17 times in the final stages of the European Championship and 3rd in a row (1967, 1971, 1979, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1995, 1997, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2019, 2021, 2023).

The Blue and Whites have been drawn into the fourth group, which will be played in Tel Aviv and will face off Israel, Romania, France, Turkey and Portugal.

The top four teams in each group advance to the round of 16.

Where will it take place?

Group A will be played in Italy and the matches will be played there Romeat Perugia and to ancona.

Group B will take place in Bulgaria and the matches will be played there Varna.

Group C takes place in North Macedonia Skopje will host the games.

Group D will take place in Israel and the matches will be played there Tel Aviv.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).

Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.

For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.

The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).

In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.

The final match will take place on December 26.
