Greek Men’s Volleyball Cup: Olympiacos won the derby with Foinikas, Panathinaikos, PAOK and Milonas completing the Final Four

Olympiacos overcame the resistance of Foinikas and reached the semi-finals of the Greek Cup in men’s volleyball. Along with him, Panathinaikos, PAOK and Milonas progressed with 3-0 victories.

After a battle that lasted 2.5 hours, Olympiacos left Syros with the qualification. This is the 22nd time that the red-whites are competing in the final 4 or final 8 of the cup and let last year’s finalists out of the final phase Phoenix ONEX.

Olympiacos took advantage of the home team’s mistakes and reduced to 18-14 and 19-18, but Fromm’s ace made it 23-20. The home side didn’t finish the counterattack in the next phase, Stern took the switch and Travisa became Hidalgo as he served spoiled the Syrians’ reception with an ace to wrap up an impressive 0-5 series to make it 23-25 ​​and 1-2 in sentences.

PAOK defends its title
