Big gain with the acquisition of Karkases in women’s volleyball from Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos announced the acquisition of 37-year-old Cuban international Kenya Karkases, who has been playing in Italy for several years.

Panathinaikos’ staffing levels in women’s volleyball remain unchanged. Der Klee reached an agreement with 37-year-old Cuban international Kenya Carcasses, who has played in Italy in recent years.

The Greens announced their takeover and added a pretty good athlete to their squad, especially up front, so they can keep the reins next year and do even better in Europe.

“Panathinaikos AO announces the start of its partnership with Kenya Carcaces for the 2023-24 competitive season for the women’s volleyball division.

With the signing of Cuban winger Kenia Carcases, who undoubtedly brings even more quality to the squad with her years of experience at the highest level of the CEV Champions League, the club has made a great transfer step.

The 37-year-old (1.90m) winger played for Italian Igor Gorgonzola Novara last season and finished 3rd in the Champions League and 4th in the Italian league.

Kenya Carcases told pao1908.com: “I am very excited to have the opportunity to play in Greece for the first time and for the champions Panathinaikos. I would like to extend my greetings to the fans of the team and thank the club’s management and Sotiris Pantaleon for the trust they have placed in them.”

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane

The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.

The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.

“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”

I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.

I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.

The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
