Men’s Volleyball Cup: PAOK and Olympiakos said they were ready for the big semifinals
PAOK and Olympiakos compete in the second semi-final of Men’s Volleyball Cup and their representatives declared that the two teams are ready for their big battle.
The most outstanding semi-final in the Men’s Volleyball Cup Final 4 is without a doubt the semi-final between Olympiakos and PAOK.
The two teams are not at their best but they said they are ready to qualify and reach the trophy.
PAOK trainer Giannis Kalmazidis emphasized: “I would like to thank the municipality of Glyfada and the federation. The cup is a very nice event that reaches a climax with the Final-4 that we all like to see. We met again at this event and in this stadium very nice ” Now that we know how to do it, we’ll be happy. We’re here to win the title against some very good teams. “And the cup. These are tough games. We can’t wait to get started .”
The team’s leader, Thanos Terzis, is on the same page: “We have very good memories of this stadium. I think the clear goal is to win the cup. It is an institution of surprises, everything is open. “Certainly the teams in the Volley League have a small advantage, anything can happen there.”
Asked about the backstory in “Makis Liougas”: “We believe in our strength, we lost here in a trophy that got out of our hands. But I think it’s our institution and we will fight for the best result.”
“We’re not at 100%, but…”
For his part, Alberto Giuliani stressed that Olympiacos is not fully ready but everyone is determined to do their best.
“It’s an honor to be in this Final-4. It won’t be an easy event. We’re not at 100% but we’re Olympiacos and we’ll do our best to get the win. We’ve got some minor injury issues , but I “We will fight. We are optimistic,” said the Italian coach.
The message from Kostas Stivachtis was similar: “We are here for the final phase of the cup. As Olympiacos we want to win this trophy, of course we know it won’t be easy. There are fighting teams, there are remarkable teams that we have to face, but we are determined and hopefully just as effective in winning the trophy. I thank those who helped with the event, the municipality of Glyfada, which took over the event.
I hope we offer a nice spectacle here. We are ready and psychologically you know that you are playing a single game and that if you are not in your good day there is no coming back. We are ready, it is necessary. These games are for the big teams, they need to be claimed. “Whatever problems there are, you have to be on the pitch and play 100%.”
