Men’s national volleyball team: The Italians Boniface and Papi in technical lead
Italy’s Dente Bonifande and Samuele Papi will be the technical duo leading the men’s national team, succeeding Dimitris Andreopoulos, who has long been part of the squad.
Dimitris Andreopoulos’ replacements on the men’s national volleyball team bench have been found, as Italians Dante Bonifande and Samuele Papi will jointly take over the men’s national team’s technical leadership for the next two years.
The corresponding press release of the federal states:
“The Hellenic Volleyball Federation announces the start of collaboration with Italian coaches Dante Boninfante and Samuele Papi.
The cooperation of the two renowned Italian coaches for the technical management of the men’s national team will last two years.
Communications with Dante Bonifande and Samuele Papi, who will be Bonifante’s direct collaborators, had begun a long time ago and the talks had as their only objective the continuation of the upward course of the men’s national and at the same time the possibilities of creating the conditions for the new generation of the Men’s Volleyballs.
In the following days, EOPE. will announce the official arrival of Bonifante, Papi in Greece to sign the contracts and officially announce the new racing destinations and the new partners who will accompany them.
As with the women’s national team, the administration of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation handed over two great personalities of world volleyball to the men’s national team and wants to live up to the high expectations we all have of our favorite sport in practice.
