AO Finikas ONEX returned to the wins and kept his title hopes alive with the 3-0 set against Kifissia in a match that ended the 7th match.

The Syros team once again overtook the 3rd place in the ranking and is -5 ahead of the champions Panathinaikos and -3 ahead of Olympiakos with 23 points. In the remaining three rounds, Finikas will face Milonas in Nea Smyrni, PAOK in Syros and Panathinaikos in Maroussi in the final match.

Kifissia started the first set impressively despite the absences, finding points from Costopoulos and Kotsakis and leading 5-2. The ambiguous game continued with the two teams going hand in hand until the 14-14. The hosts went +2, 16-14 in attack after a slight mistake by Michali.
