“We are excited, we are excited to start the competition. We play against Zaksa, the last champions and holders of the Champions League title. We know it will be very tough for all of us, it will be a very strong opponent. game, but we wait, let’s enjoy it.
It is also important for the reputation of the club, players and staff. Very important games, I can’t wait to get started. Zaksa is a very smart team, they don’t make mistakes, they don’t give easy points to their opponents.
Their advantage lies in the placements they make, especially in service, they make some sharp, some long, some mark the lines, sometimes they take risks, sometimes they don’t. We have to find solutions to the pressure that is put on us in this area, that is the key.”said Olympiacos coach Daniel Castellani.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
