Panathinaikos won a 3-1 set against Sousa to qualify for the ’16’ of the Challenge Cup, where they will face Italy’s Monza.

As in training, Panathinaikos won a 3-1 set against Sousa and qualified for the round of 16 of the Challenge Cup, where they will face Italy’s Monza.

The Greens confirmed their competitive superiority, with excellent serves and blocks they easily won the first two sets and made qualification clear.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).

Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.

For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.

The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).

In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.

The final match will take place on December 26.
