PAOK – Mladost 3-0: Comfortable qualification for the round of 16 of the CEV Cup
PAOK won 3-0 against Mladost in the second game for the round of 32 of the CEV Cup and qualified ceremoniously.
PAOK submitted again 3:0 set The Mladost for the Phase of 32 of the CEV Cup and progressed to the next phase.
Despite not having newly signed French winger Axel Trutsev and Menelaos Kokkinakis on the bench to protect him, Dikefalos had a big 3-0 lead in Zagreb and got today’s game right.
With Vassilis Mouchlia appearing in the starting line-up for the first time this year and providing solutions, PAOK kept up with Mladost in the first set until the score was 14:14, then they managed to get away (16:14, 21:17) and 25 :18 to reach.
Since PAOK was only one set away from qualification, the situation did not change in the second round. The Black and Whites led again with 16:14 and consistently had a difference of 2:3 points as they were able to easily accept the change to 25:20.
With qualification decided, Milenkoski started making changes early on, gradually withdrawing all of the main players, but PAOK had no problems and comfortably made it 25-20 and 3-0.
The next opponent is the Italian Allianz Milano of former Olympiakos coach Roberto Piazza as well as Osniel Mercarejo Erdandez, Matei Kaczynski and Yuki Ishikawa.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
