NOVA head coach – about the match against Shakhtar at the tournament in the UAE: “There was not enough play”

The head coach of Novokuybyshevskaya “Nova” Oleg Sogrin said that the volleyball players of the team did not have enough playing in the match against the Soligorsk “Shakhtar” at the NAS Sports Tournament tournament in Dubai.

The meeting ended with a score of 3-1 (29:27, 25:27, 25:20, 25:21) in favor of the Belarusian club.

– We did not have enough play. The match was attended by guys who rarely receive game practice in the championship. This is due to the injuries and the poor condition of the players of the main composition. Nevertheless, I believe that they fought – well done! They opposed Shakhtar, who is now in good shape. A little unlucky, they made a few stupid mistakes. But the game was interesting, with a large number of salvations in defense. Of course, it’s a shame to lose, I’m upset.

This tournament is an important event for us. We are glad that we got the opportunity to participate, look at other teams, including Italian groups. This is cool! I would like such tournaments to be held more often, ”the press service of the All -Russian Volleyball Federation (BFV) quotes Sogrin.

On Saturday, the rival of “NOVA” will be the Italian “Grottacsolin”.

NAS Sports Tournament is held from March 12 to March 20. In addition to Nova, the Moscow Dynamo participates from Russia in the tournament.
