NOVA volleyball players won the first victory at the international tournament in the UAE
The volleyball players of the Novokuybyshevskaya “Nova” beat the club from the Banias UAE in the third round of the international tournament NAS Sports Tournament in Dubai.
The match of group B ended with the victory of “Nova” with a score of 3-1 (25:23, 20:25, 25:20, 25:20).
In the first round, Nova lost to the Soligorsk “Shakhtar” (1-3), in the second – the Italian club “Grottaczolin” (1-3).
Nova scored three points and took third place in the group B.
The competition is held from 12 to 20 March. In addition to Nova, the Moscow Dynamo is participating from Russia in the tournament.

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

The Kazan team Dynamo-Ak Bars beat Zarechye-Odintsovo in the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among women’s teams.
The decisive match took place on Sunday in Kaliningrad and ended in victory for Dynamo with a score of 3–2 (25:18, 25:27, 25:10, 22:25, 15:9).
“Dynamo-Ak Bars” wins the Russian Super Cup for the second year in a row and the fourth time in history. This is the best result in the history of the tournament, Dynamo Moscow has three victories, Lokomotiv from Kaliningrad has one.
The current Russian Super Cup was held for the first time in the Final Four format.
