The 2012 Olympic champion in the Russian national team Diagonal Dmitry Muserg signed a new one -year contract with the Japanese club Santori Sanberds. This was reported by the Santori press service on the official website of the team.

On May 5, Santori Sanberds for the 11th time in history became the winner of the Japanese Championship in volleyball among men’s teams, defeating Stings ITA with a score of 3-0 (29:27, 25:16, 25:22) in the final of the national championship.

– I am very happy to play for Sanberz in the 2025–26 season. I will do my best to win the Emperor’s Cup again! Many teams will try to take revenge. That is why we have a lot to do. We are a team that overcame many difficulties and is not afraid of any challenges. We promise that this season will be bright, exciting. We appreciate the non -consulting support of the fans and are waiting for the meeting next season, ”the Club press service quotes the Muser.

The 2012 Olympic champion, as part of the Russian national team, Dmitry Muserg has been playing for Santori since 2018 and won the Japanese Championship with this team for the fourth time. As part of the Russian national team, Muserorsky became the champion of Europe, the winner of the World League and the League of Nations.

A record attendance at the Russian volleyball championships was set at the hockey arena in Omsk

The match of the 17th round of the Women’s Super League “Omichka” – “Proton” (3:0) set an attendance record for the Russian championships, reports the press service of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation.

The match took place on Saturday in Omsk at the arena of the Avangard hockey club. The game was attended by 8,045 spectators, which became a new record for Russian volleyball championships.

The previous record belonged to St. Petersburg, where in 2018, 7,450 people were present at the match between St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit.
