The world volleyball championship among girls under the age of 21 in Indonesia is approaching decisive stages. But on August 12, the results of the first four matches with the participation of the Vietnam team were canceled. The team was awarded technical defeats, dropping it to the last place in group A.

The Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation Vietnam Le Chi Trung said that the players were absent not because of the gender verification, but because of the requirements of the organizers to provide additional documents, such as birth certificates.
They did not finally expel Vietnam, allowing the game against Puerto Rico at the group stage, as well as a meeting against Egypt in the playoffs for places from 17 to 24. Kuin took part in both matches and helped the team win two victories. But the hong was not in the composition.
The Vietnamese are not ready to put up with such an attitude to volleyball players. Officials said that initially the documents of athletes did not raise questions. They promised to file a complaint against the actions of the organizers in order to defend the reputation of the Hong and the entire national team. True, if the violation is nevertheless confirmed, then the Federation faces a fine of 30 thousand Swiss francs (2.97 million rubles).
