Men’s Olympic Volleyball: Vent Comes to Greece to Sign

Olympiacos are preparing to complete a significant transfer in French cross John Vent to bolster their men’s volleyball squad.

John Vent is expected to be a significant addition to Olympiakos in men’s volleyball. The French cross is expected in Greece later today to complete his move.

The 28-year-old is 1.98 m tall. will undergo medical and ergometric tests and then sign a contract that will be immediately made available to Rudy Giuliani.

Wendt belongs to Cannes, bottom of the French league. His career started in 2011 in Avenir in his native country and continued in Cannes, Narbonne, Als (Belgium), Piyanko (Turkey), Novgorod (Russia), Sakai (Japan) to be repatriated in the summer.

When his takeover is complete, Olympiacos will have five foreigners and will use the four as Ermans Eglescalns will stay in Piraeus to support him with his personal problem.

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.

The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Dynamo-Ak Bars volleyball players won the Russian Super Cup for the fourth time

The Kazan team Dynamo-Ak Bars beat Zarechye-Odintsovo in the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among women’s teams.

The decisive match took place on Sunday in Kaliningrad and ended in victory for Dynamo with a score of 3–2 (25:18, 25:27, 25:10, 22:25, 15:9).

“Dynamo-Ak Bars” wins the Russian Super Cup for the second year in a row and the fourth time in history. This is the best result in the history of the tournament, Dynamo Moscow has three victories, Lokomotiv from Kaliningrad has one.

The current Russian Super Cup was held for the first time in the Final Four format.
