Player Simonenko becomes the first newcomer of Dynamo-Ak Bars

Dynamo-Ak Bars introduced the first rookie of the 2022 season. They became Doigrovschitsa Yaroslava Simonenko.

In the 2021/22 season, Simonenko played for Dynamo Moscow and won two bronze medals with the team: in the championship and in the Russian Cup. In the finished season, Simonenko showed 54% positive and 33% excellent reception, and was also remembered for the most difficult serves.

“Simonenko will have a lot of playing time in our club next season, so we look forward to his enthusiasm and new achievements on the volleyball court. Yaroslava, welcome to Dinamo-Ak Bars!” – He writes a welcome message on the website of the Kazan club.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).

Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.

For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.

The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).

In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.

The final match will take place on December 26.
