The ex-player of the Russian national football team Vladimir Bystrov, on the air of the Loud program on Match TV, said that the head coach of the Kaliningrad Lokomotiv Andrei Voronkov cannot be called a racist just by one of his statements, since it is not clear who the specialist was talking about at all .
On May 30, the Executive Committee of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VVF) decided to disqualify Voronkov for 2 years. On May 12, Voronkov, during a timeout in the fifth match of the final series of the Russian Championship with Uralochka-NTMK, gave instructions to his players, while he pulled Valery Zaitseva aside and said: “Why are you catching this monkey again?” The phrase was on the air “Match TV”. Cuban Ailama Sese Montalvo played for Uralochka, who later left the club.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.

St. Petersburg “Zenith” defeated “Nova” from Novokuybyshevsk in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship.
