Panathinaikos Women’s Volleyball: Irini Chatziefstratiadou goes on in clover
Panathinaikos Athletic Club have announced Irini Chatziefstratiadou’s stay for another season.
The Panathinaikos shirt will be worn by for another season Irini Chatziefstratiadou. On the morning of Sunday, May 29, the shamrock formalized the eve of International Headquarters, which stated:
“I am very happy to have renewed with the Panathinaikos team. Management and the coach showed how much they want me in the team and the decision to renew was made very easily. I wish that the new year will repeat last season’s successes and prove that what we achieved was no accident and we deserve it. I promise to the friends of Panathinaikos who always and everywhere support us that I will always try to give 100% of my potential. Finally, I would like to wish all athletes, coaches, employees and management a good season and above all good health“.

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
