PAOK Women’s Volleyball: announces Poland Zarzlinska-Krol
PAOK’s player is officially Polish diagonal Katarzyna Zaroslinska-Krol, with the Thessaloniki team announcing their takeover.
Poland international Katarzyna Zaroslinska-Krol has strengthened the women’s volleyball team from PAOK, which announced its acquisition for the next season. She is an experienced player for the biggest teams in Poland, including Lodz, Skra and Kemik Police.
This will be the first time Zaroslinska-Krol will play outside of Poland with PAOK being the team that managed to win their signature.
PAOK’s announcement in detail:
“PAOK and the women’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with athlete Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król for the 2022-2023 season.
Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król, born in Poland on February 3rd, 1987, competes as Cross and is 187 cm tall.
She started her career in 2006-2007 season in Poland, LTS Legionovia Legionowo and continued it in Skra Bełchatów the following season.
The 2008-2009 season found her at KPSK Stal Mielec, where she distinguished herself with her performances and began to be on the “radar” of top teams in the Polish league.
So in 2009-2010 she played for Grot Budowlani Łódź and won the first collective title of her career, the Polish Cup.
From 2010 to 2011 she stayed with Grot Budowlani Łódź, where she made her first appearances in the most important cross-club competition of the CEV Champions League.
For the next three years, she could be found in the jersey of Tauron MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza, with which she won two Polish Cups and two Polish Super Cups while competing in both the CEV Champions League and the CEV Women’s Cup.
In 2015-2016 she played for PGE ATOM Trefl Sopot and reached the quarterfinals of the CEV Champions League while the next season was a milestone for her.
In the 2016-2017 season he played for Chemik Police, with which he won the “Double”. In the same team he continued the 2017-2018 season, achieving the conquest of the championship but also the quarterfinals of the CEV Champions League.
She remained in the Polish Championship for the next four seasons, competing for KS DevelopRes SkyRes Rzeszów, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź and E. Leclerc Moya Radomka Radom.
In terms of individual awards, he was named the best cross in the Polish league five times, best goalscorer and best spiker twice, and best server once.
International with all age categories of the Polish national team, which records many participations in the women’s national team.
Her move to PAOK marks her first ‘exit’ from the Polish championship, as she hasn’t played in any other European team in the past.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).
In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.
The final match will take place on December 26.
