Olympiacos announced Salvador Hidalgo Oliva in volleyball
Olympiakos men’s volleyball team has announced the signing of Salvador Hidalgo Oliva. The Cuban has played for Fenerbahce for the last four years.
Olympiacos announced the acquisition of Salvador Hidalgo Oliva. The Cuban signed his new contract with the red and white and will strengthen the volleyball team in the coming season. In recent years he has competed with the Fenerbahce side, winning his last championship with the Turkish side in the 2018/19 season.

OLYMPIC SFP announces the start of its collaboration with Salvador Hidalgo Oliva. The Cuban (German) winger (born 12/27/1985, height 1.98 m) has signed his new contract and joins the roster of the club’s men’s volleyball team.
Born in Leningrad, Russia, Salvador Hidalgo played for Fenerbahce from 2018 to 2022, with whom he won the 2018/19 league and Turkish Cup as well as the Super Cup (2020/21). Last season, Salvador Hidalgo was named the top server in Turkey’s league, as well as MVP in 2018-19, with a total of 15 individual awards in his career. Hidalgo also has an Asian Champions League and championships in Russia, Qatar, China and Lebanon, among others.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).
In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.
The final match will take place on December 26.
