The EEC notification in detail:
“A coexisting relationship that has transcended the bounds of simple cooperation and the duration of two decades is coming full circle.
The Eurobank Group will no longer be the main sponsor of the national basketball teams, although the conditions at that time led to the end of this form of cooperation, which was the longest in Europe, but not the close ties between the two sides. Both the formal end and the permanent ties between the two sides were sealed today (9/2) at the meeting held at the banking group’s headquarters, where the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurobank, Mr George Zanias, addressed the The CEO of the Bank, Mr. Fokion Karavias, Vice-Chairman of the Board, Mr. Stavros Ioannou, and Director-General for Marketing and Corporate Communications, Mr. Michalis Vlastarakis, welcomed the EEC delegation, composed of the President of the Federation, Mr. Vangelis Liolonos, and Director-General Liotinos. .

Life moves on quickly as conditions change just as quickly and we all have to adapt. An important chapter in the history of Greek basketball has closed, but it will certainly not be forgotten. On the other hand, this cooperation will serve us as a guide for the future of the Hellenic Federation and it will be a hopeful project to build such strong and sincere relationships in the future. As representatives of today’s federation, we thank the Eurobank Group from the bottom of our hearts for what they have offered to Greek basketball.
The President of the EWG, Mr. Vangelis Liolios, presents a Kotino to the CEO of the Eurobank, Mr. Fokion Karavia
Noting the strong ties the bank has with Greek basketball, Eurobank CEO Mr. Fokion Karavias stressed: We are happy and proud to spread #pantadipla to the players, coaches, team staff and the Hellenic Basketball Federation to all to have found great successes that have brought them to Greece. In Eurobasket 2005, in Mud Basketball 2006, in Eurobasket 2009, together on the highest peaks, together on the most difficult days. We would like to complete this cycle after 21 years and wish that the national team will always be the favorite of the Greek fans, bring medals, raise our flag and make all Greeks proud and always represent the sporting ethos and the Olympic spirit in the home country. “The people of the Eurobank will always be in their stands.”

Lakers player independently fixes dislocated finger during Dallas game
Los Angeles Lakers player Marcus Smart He described how he removed his finger during an intervention attempt and then reattached it:
“My finger popped out again, so I had to put it back in. I put it right back in. It was the same finger that had been operated on before, so it was a little scary, but it would still be fine.”
I sprained my operated finger and thought, “I don’t want to quit playing.” I quickly tried to set it up and if it hadn’t worked I would have left the site long ago. But I managed to get back into the game.
It’s part of basketball, it’s part of me. I’m a tough player, things happen and I want to help the team in any way possible, whether it’s with ten fingers or nine fingers,” Smart said.
While Los Angeles Lakers defeated Dallas Mavericks with a score of 116:110, Smart played 32 minutes and played with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks during this time.
Previously, Luka Doncic shared his feelings about returning to Dallas.

Doncic on returning to Dallas: ‘This will always be a special place for me’
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic He shared his feelings about returning to Dallas, where he spent 7 years as a member of the Mavericks.
Cheers erupted in the arena during the Slovenian’s introduction, and fans chanted “MVP” when Doncic went for a free throw.
“I was very happy to come back here. I went home and looked at my cars. But, you know, it’s always emotional. I was very pleased that the fans applauded me when I was introduced.”
It will always be a special place for me. I’ve spent seven years here and a lot of things have happened, both good and bad. When I went to Madrid at the age of 13, I felt good every time I returned to Slovenia. That’s why it will always be a special place for me.
Fan support? It was really special. I didn’t know what to expect because I know how the city responds to such cold weather, but I’m really grateful to a lot of people for coming.
Doncic helped the Lakers win 116-110 with 33 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds in the match.
