Agent Alexander Manyakov demands to disqualify the Spartak midfielder Mikhail Ignatov for up to 6 months.
According to the source, in 2021 the footballer decided to terminate the agency contract, but Manyakov demanded 9.5 million rubles from the player. The agent applied to the Chamber for Dispute Resolution RFS extensionbut he lost the first case. Subsequently, the committee sided with Manyakov.
The player then turned to the Mytishchi city court and proved his case: in December of last year, the court ruled that the agent had not lost any profits, and Mikhail owed him nothing. Subsequently, the regional court decided that the midfielder should pay Manyakov the money, following the decision RFS extension. Ignatov has now filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court.
The agent returned to RFS extension demanding that the player be punished for going to court. According to the regulations, Ignatov could not apply to a civil court without going through all instances of sports courts (such cases should be dealt with in RFS extension OR CAS).
The player risks being disqualified for a period of 3 to 6 months or a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
