Former Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain striker David Ngog returns to action with Panionios

Panionios have announced the signing of 33-year-old French ex-Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain striker David Engog, who played for the Blues in the 2016/17 season.

The 33-year-old French forward David Engogwho ended his career in 2020 is returning for Panioni.

The former Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain striker played at New Smyrna in the 2016/17 season so he’s returning to familiar territory, but those of the third national team.

The 33-year-old French forward returns to our team after the 2016/17 season and has a respectable CV of achievements few footballers in our country can match.

He began his professional career with the team that became the most popular in football, Paris Saint-Germain, from which he moved to England and Liverpool, with whom he played 94 games in all competitions (Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League) goals while providing 6 assists. He then played with the Bolton team, recording 16 goals and 12 assists in 91 games, while his last English spell was at Swansea. He then spent two years in Reims, France, before joining the “Reds and Blues”. After leaving HISTORIKO, he played for Honved, Ross County and Zalgiris, among others.

Immediately after his agreement with PANIONIO, David stated the following:

On November 12 he will play in the 3rd Bundesliga

According to a decision by the EPA Executive Committee, the men’s C national championship begins on November 12, while the women’s championship begins on the 19th of the same month.

Centers in the C National Championship will be held over the two days of November 12-13 following a decision by the EPO Executive Committee.

At the same meeting, it was decided that the A’ and B’National Women’s Championships championships would begin on the two days of November 19-20.

The corresponding announcement in detail: “The Executive Committee of the Hellenic Football Federation made the following decisions during today’s meeting.

-Following a recommendation from the Organizing Committee, the 3rd National Division Championship will begin on November 12th and 13th. It will be played in five groups of 14 teams, while promotion to Super League 2 will be decided in a special league featuring the five regular-season champions (top four will be promoted).

“Upon the recommendation of the Women’s Football Committee, the Division A and Division B Women’s Championships will begin on November 19 and 20.”

The draw for the third and fourth stages of the Greek Cup

The draw of the third and fourth stages of the Greek Cup produced quite interesting duels. From the third phase, the games Niki Volos – Herakles, Apollon Smyrna – Kifisia and Aegaleo – Panserraikos stand out.

The draw for the third and fourth rounds of the Greek Cup was completed at the EPO offices and the Super League 2 teams also entered this stage.

Among the third round pairings, the matches between Niki Volos and Heraklis, Apollo Smyrni with Kifisia and Aegaleos with Panserraikos stand out. The EPO announced the full composition of the federation’s Executive Committee as formed during Thursday’s (11/8) meeting, while announcing that the 3rd National Championship is scheduled to start on 2 October.

The EPA announced the full composition of the Federation Executive Committee while also announcing that the 3rd National Championship will begin on October 2nd.

The announcement in detail:

“The Executive Committee of the Hellenic Football Union made the following decisions during today’s session.

– Pursuant to Article 33(9) of the EPO Statutes, the Deputy President, First Vice-President and Treasurer were elected. After a secret ballot in the offices, the following were elected:

Vice-Chairman: Panagiotis Dimitriou (12 votes by 12 voters).

1st Vice-President: Stergios Antoniou (12 votes by 12 voters).

Treasurer: Clearchos Tzaferis (12 votes by 12 voters).

Accordingly, the Presidium of the Executive Committee of the EPO is composed as follows:
