After an action-packed first Sunday of the NFL season, most of the top QBs lived up to their preseason expectations, but as always, some didn’t perform to the level Fantasy NFL users were hoping for (seeing Dak Prescott , Trey Lance , Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford). It’s still too early to hit the panic button if your QB gets cut with just a week on the booksbut it might be worth watching a backup if you are worried. Whether you’re 1-0 or 0-1, the Week 2 QB rankings are aimed at helping you get a “W” this week.

As the season continues, we’ll have more stats and data to help improve our predictions for both QBs and defenses. However, with just one set of data from one game, we have to take into account what we saw last week along with our pre-season background. Ultimately, there isn’t much of a gap at the top of our QB rankings as the Bills’ QB Josh Allen (against the Titans) tops our list after his massive effort of 31.48 points in the 31-10 Buffalo of the Rams trump.

Of all the Week 1 disappointments, Prescott stings the most as he will miss several weeks with a broken hand. Cooper Rush (vs. Bengals) will replace him, but he’s not someone in one-QB leagues to worry about.

Among uninjured QBs, the rankings of Rodgers (vs. Bears) and Lance (vs. Seahawks) took a hit after lackluster Week 1 performances. We like their matchups, so if they get some key targets back (Allen Lazard, George Kittle, respectively) and Lance doesn’t have to play under a storm, they should put up solid numbers. However, there are reasons to worry about both. Stafford (against the Falcons) doesn’t really have those concerns, as his targets are healthy and he’s not in danger of losing his job. In fact, it moves our ranking up from last week because of their matchup. The Falcons, who gave up 269 yards and two TDs to Jameis Winston in Week 1, are shaping up to be a much more favorable opponent than the Bills. Remember, in Fantasy NFL, luck can change on a weekly basis.

Other bubble QBs with exciting Week 2 matchups include Derek Carr (vs. Cardinals), Tua Tagovailoa (@Ravens), Matt Ryan (@Jaguars) and Justin Fields (@Packers). The Cardinals defense had major issues in coverage (although, to be fair, they were playing Patrick Mahomes), making Carr an essential QB in Week 2. Tagovailoa also impressed, showing an instant connection with Tyreek Hill. Ryan and Fields are still risky and probably best left for two-QB/superflex leagues. The same goes for Carson Wentz (@Lions) although we liked what we saw from him and his receivers.

Kirk Cousins (@Eagles) and Winston (vs. Buccaneers) are also decent after their effective performances in Week 1. Cousins has really shined in the new Vikings offense and should continue to play well against a good but not great player, defensive end for the Eagles. Winston has bounced off a slow start to post solid stats, but Taysom Hill’s continued presence remains a nuisance.

In general, we’re not overly concerned with any top QB combination. Joe Burrow ( @Cowboys ) might be the most dangerous, but that’s as much due to his interception-filled start as the Cowboys’ defense. If Tee Higgins (concussion) is out, Burrow becomes slightly more risky.

Again, we’ve only seen one game from each team, so it’s unwise to jump to conclusions just yet. It’s best to take everything with a grain of salt, knowing that the NFL is a week-to-week league. Last week’s hero could be this week’s flop and vice versa.

Korostelev – about the photo finish with Bolshunov: “There was an idea that they would determine two winners, but they definitely wouldn’t put Sasha in first place”

Skier Savely Korostelev said on Match TV that he was confident of his victory when, at the finish of the mass start at the Russian Cup stage, first place was determined using a photo finish.

On Sunday, Korostelev won the 20 km classic style mass start at the second stage of the PhosAgro Russian Cup in Tyumen. Korostelev was ahead of three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov by 0.1 seconds, the winner was determined by a photo finish. The top three were closed by Sergey Ardashev (+2.1).

“Today my task was to sit in a group as much as possible and learn to run in contact with people, and not to mess around in front somewhere. It turned out that I hit my hand at that turn, and I also lay down at that turn, where Vanya Gorbunov eventually fell. I tried to go around this turn and it turned out well, because Vanya fell and slowed everyone down. And I understood that the only one who could catch Sasha Bolshunov was me.

When we crossed the finish line, I was sure that I had won. That’s why I jumped up immediately joyful, I had no doubts. The only thought was that they might take the first two places, but definitely not Sasha in first,” Korostelev said on Match TV.

The next stage of the Russian Cup will be held in Chusovoy from December 11 to 14.

Cross-country skiing competitions are shown live on TV channels of the Match family, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.

Skier Bakurov: “I’m glad that I was able to return to the track. The leg didn’t bother me”

Skier Alexander Bakurov said on Match TV that he felt good during the mass start in Tyumen; the consequences of the injury he received when Alexander Bolshunov pushed him did not bother him.

On Sunday, Bakurov became eighth in the mass start at the second stage of the PhosAgro Russian Cup in Tyumen. The winner was Savely Korostelev, he covered 20 kilometers in the classical style in 41 minutes 3.3 seconds. Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov finished second (lag – 0.1 seconds).

Earlier, Bolshunov pushed Bakurov after the finish of the sprint semi-final in Kirovsk. Bakurov limped away from the scene of the incident, and Bolshunov was disqualified following the results of the race. Bolshunov could not take part in all-Russian competitions until Bakurov recovered from the injury and returned to competitions.

“I felt pretty good.” The first two laps were terrible. I got into trouble. I had to spend a lot of effort to catch up, I even polished in the end. Lost ground on the last descents. I’m glad I was able to get back on the track. The leg didn’t bother me. I really don’t want to miss races. “I wanted to come back and participate in the races as soon as possible,” Bakurov said on Match TV.

The next stage of the Russian Cup will be held in Chusovoy from December 11 to 14.
