Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated the winners of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

On March 9, it became known that Sobyanin signed a decree according to which the amount of social payments will be 4 million rubles for Olympic champions, 2.5 million rubles for silver medalists and 1.7 million rubles for bronze medalists. Russian streamer Olga Ivanovna, known under the nickname i_olga on the Twitch platform, won the “Best Gaming Moment of 2025” category as part of the international NNYS award.
During one of the streams, a 77-year-old woman was able to create a so-called “ace” in the shooter Counter‑Strike 2 – the moment when one player defeats the entire opposing team. A video of this moment was widely shared on social networks.

Biathlete Kirill Bazhin won the mass start at the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup in Tyumen.
